ResWare™ Features: Vendor Management
Vendor Management functionality is built in to ResWare™. All partner, buyer, seller, and client information is stored within the system. ResWare™ also has filtering technology that allows restrictions to be placed on partners. For example, if a client dictates that only a certain set of underwriters can be used on their files, then only those partners will appear in searches on that client's files. Partners can also be filtered by geographic area and licensing restrictions, per state and county.
| Attachment to Files |
Any partner can be "attached" to a customer file. Attached partners are seen on a file's main information screen. Partners on a file can have notes or documents sent to them, have checks cut to them, and can be used in Excel and Word merge fields. |
| Partner administration |
An extensive partner administration interface exists to allow easy editing, adding and merging of partner information. |
| Partner approval |
When a partner is first entered into the system, it is placed in a queue of unapproved partners. Unapproved partners can still be attached to customer files, but they cannot have information or checks sent to them before they are approved. |
| Client coverage |
Partners can be assigned to certain clients, meaning that a client specifically requests that only a given set of partners (for example, title companies) be used on their files. Changing a partner's coverage affects the files on which a partner will show up in a partner search. |
| County coverage |
Partners can be designated as only being allowed to perform services in a given set of counties. For example, a title company may only be licensed to do business in a certain state, or only certain counties within a state. Changing a partner's county coverage changes the files on which the partner will appear within a partner search. |
| Preferred vendors |
Vendors can be assigned a preferred status, which will sort their listings to the top of a partner search. |
| Fees |
Fees can be specified for each partner, giving employees a view into which partners might be preferable to use. |
