ResWare™ Features: Templates
Microsoft Word and Excel templates can be created that will be auto-populated from information within ResWare™. These Templates increase efficiency, ensure consistency, and place all necessary data properly into documents.
| Templates |
This component allows the employee to run previously created Excel/Word Templates on the current customer file. The pertinent information from the file is inserted into the proper location on the template. |
| Word sub-templates, hotkeys |
When inside Word, an employee can insert sub-templates defined within the system. Any "merge fields" inside the sub-template are automatically populated. In addition, sub-templates can be quickly inserted using hot-keys. |
| Word and Excel merge fields |
Administrators can easily create Word or Excel templates that contain "merge fields". Once created, employees can create documents using the templates. The merge fields automatically extract information from the customer file being edited into the document. Example merge fields include addresses, names, dates, sales price, partner information, etc. There are over 170 merge fields to choose from. Additionally, "Pause fields" can be inserted into Word documents to allow an employee to quickly jump to areas of a document that need to be populated. |
| Word/Excel print/save all |
Within Word and Excel, buttons have been added to update the document on the server, print all open documents, save all open documents, and attach the current document to the customer file as a PDF. |
