			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In an effort to better equip their customers, Adeptive has formed a strategic alliance with Simplifile, the leader in e-recording services.</p>
<p>The partnership allows users of ResWare™ to electronically record (e-record) documents such as deeds, mortgages, and reconveyances submitted by title professionals, banks, and attorneys through the Simplifile e-recording service. The process in the ResWare™ system is virtually effortless and improves the workflow, thus decreasing overhead costs.  Users are automatically notified when the recording has taken place, and are also notified if a recording has been rejected.</p>
<p>“Our customers are seeing huge productivity improvements using the Simplifile interface.  They are a true leader in their field, and this partnership facilitates the process for our customers”, states Bryan Buus, President of Adeptive.</p>

In her new role, Myers will draw on her experience in the title and escrow industry to assist customers with their various escrow and accounting related needs.  In addition to working directly with customers, she will act as liaison between customers and the engineering team and use her field knowledge to recommend enhancements to advance ResWare™. </p>

In her new role, Hanson will assist Adeptive in achieving continued profitability and growing revenues. She will draw from her 20 plus years of industry experience to formulate strategies for current and future growth. In addition to developing business plans, generating marketing strategies, performing market-analysis, monitoring industry trends and news, Hanson will attend trade shows and industry conferences and coordinate customer focus groups that facilitate strategic discussion and initiatives.</p>
<p>“Terri is a critical addition to our team”, said Bryan Buus, president of Adeptive Software. “She brings invaluable experience and knowledge and will assist us in taking the next steps to grow our company and product line.”</p>
<p>Prior to her new role with Adeptive, Hanson held a project manager and vice president of professional services division position at one of the large underwriters. While there, she developed a breadth of knowledge in the title and escrow industry, managed several projects on both business and technology levels, assisted in the development of software, educated offices in process flow management, and contributed to title plant build-outs. She also managed employees on a national level and provided services such as implementation, training, client presentations and support.</p>

<p>Linear Title &#038; Closing, Ltd was founded in 2005 by President and CEO, Nick Liuzza. Linear began as a regional title company based in Newport RI. In six years Linear has grown to over 200 employees worldwide with a national footprint.</p>
<p>Linear offers a wide array of services including closing, REO, title insurance and settlement services. The company prides itself in having the power to “pursue more loans and close faster.” Liuzza and his team attribute a significant part of their ability to perform and excel in the industry to the flexibility, scalability and efficiency that it achieves using ResWare.</p>
<h6>Fast Growth, Increasing Need</h6>
<p>As a rapidly growing title and closing company, Linear needed a product that could expand with it and didn’t require a great deal of time devoted to training and integration. The company was growing and moving fast, so its software had to scale as well. Linear is a technically savvy company, so inflexible software that didn’t offer integrations, regular upgrades and that couldn’t keep up with the demands of clients was not an option.</p>
<p>Liuzza and CTO Jessica Digilio understood early on that to succeed he would need the right tools to achieve rapid growth. The company tried several products which were found to be archaic and slow. Liuzza and his team needed a system that housed the ability to scale and was easy to customize to their business model; one that could be customized around each new client and the client’s process.<br />
After a thorough review, they finally found what they needed in ResWare.</p>
<p>“Our growth and expansion would not have been possible without ResWare,” said Liuzza. “As we have grown, we continually push this software to great lengths. It easily scales to the size of our company and is able to accommodate complicated integrations with our clients.”</p>
<h6>Unable to Find the Limits of ResWare</h6>
<p>When Linear first began using ResWare, the company was told that it would have a difficult time finding the limits of ResWare and would have the power of customization always in its control.</p>
<p>“When we need to implement a new request for a client or create a solution to an internal challenge, the tools within ResWare provide us with the ability to create a scalable process. Using technology to eliminate redundant, manual steps and reduce labor costs through increased automation allows Linear to stay a step ahead,” said Jessica Digilio, CTO of Linear Title &#038; Closing, Ltd.</p>
<p>Last year, after working with ResWare for two years, the company took the software and the claim that finding the limits would be difficult and began exploring and expanding within the capabilities of the software. To date, Linear still hasn’t been able to reach the bottom of ResWare’s efficiency, scalability and customizability.</p>
<p>Because of the customizability with ResWare, Linear was able to create a groundbreaking innovation called “Change of Circumstance.” This allows a lender to make a change to a file and have it automatically change throughout the system. The result is automatically updated fees and automated notifications with documentation to every partner involved with the file.</p>
<p>Before the innovation of “Change of Circumstance,” agents would have to make a change on a document and either email or call several different people in order to ensure that the change had been made on all fronts. This would take anywhere from 24 hours to as much as 3 to 4 days, and there was always the risk of missing the change in one of the many places it needed to be updated. With “Change of Circumstance” this process is automatic, takes only about 20 seconds, and makes sure every instance is accurately updated.</p>
<p>In addition to “Change of Circumstance,” Linear utilizes ResWare integrations. One example is “Notes and Documents,” which ensures that notes and documents are seamlessly and automatically transmitted between parties, and enables tasks to be automatically started based on documents received. This is all automated, requiring no human intervention, which frees up even more time for employees to concentrate on their primary job functions.</p>
<p>“Being able to utilize integrations where one action automatically triggers the next action is key. This significantly reduces our labor costs,” said Liuzza. “These efficiencies are global and span our client base. With ResWare, we have the ability implement workflow specifically to our clients’ needs.”</p>
<h6>Achieving Monetary Results with ResWare</h6>
<p>Any IT purchase should save time or reduce costs &#8212; ideally a good purchase will achieve both. The bottom-line goal for Linear when choosing ResWare was to close more files without adding headcount. After three years with ResWare, they are able to show the following specific results:</p>
<p>Linear’s cost per file decreased by 83 percent.</p>
<p>Linear can effectively and efficiently close 5,000 to 8,000 files in one month with only 200 employees.</p>
<p>Prior to ResWare, busy departments within Linear needed to stay in the office working until midnight to finish tasks. After ResWare was in place, for only 60 days, the same number of employees closing the same number of files were finished by 5 p.m.</p>
<p>“From the beginning, we didn’t want to be a traditional title processor, but a business process unit,” said Todd E.A. Costa, chief financial officer of Linear. “We wanted to drive business and increase efficiency. ResWare gives us the ability to grow at an astronomical rate and record positive financial results.”</p>

In addition to processing 1,700 VA refinance requests through its main office, NTN has evolved into a unique competitor in the field: it is also the back-office title processor for three sister companies that focus on standard titles, broker-facing work and more. Staffing and growing their offices quickly, NTN needed a solution that would let them flexibly and seamlessly serve four separate companies.</p>
<h6>Start-up CIO needs tools to drive his team&#8217;s success&#8230;fast</h6>
<p>As one of the first hires for NTN during its 2009 launch, CIO Kevin Mazur selected a pay-as-you-go, hosted provider that fit within the new company&#8217;s budget needs. As business grew, Mazur required a different kind of flexibility: the power to customize for NTN?s business process and unique corporate structure. The old, hosted solution was running on software that hadn?t been significantly improved in several years, and it simply didn&#8217;t provide the flexibility this new business model demanded. It was time to evaluate new solutions.</p>
<p>The critical factor in selecting ResWare was flexibility: NTN was able to set up a workflow that let him customize how forms, documents and templates were handled and seen by distinct positions. I have very particular compartmentalization of roles, in addition to having the unique challenge of supporting four niche title businesses,” said Mazur. “With ResWare?s Action ItemsTM we have people in different areas that each focus on one critical step. It was difficult to create actions on our old system so that a file would show up on the dashboard of just the person who needed to see it, and it&#8217;s easy with ResWare.”</p>
<h6>Up and running with two ResWare installations and growing fast</h6>
<p>NTN requested an accelerated implementation schedule from ResWare staff, who provided Mazur with a level of service he says he&#8217;s never seen from other vendors. Within months of Mazur joining NTN, organizational head count has more than tripled. Mazur was easily able to stream new hires into the workflow using ResWare.</p>

<p>The new communication integration is added seamlessly to the ResWare workflow and enhances the paperless environments for ResWare users. This allows one ResWare customer to place orders with another ResWare customer as well as send notes and documents between them, either manually or automatically through Action Items™ in the workflow.</p>

<h6>Volume outstrips technology; NETCO turns to ResWare</h6>
<p>In 2000 NETCO was operating in 15 states and processing orders on a proprietary system developed in-house. As volume grew through the 2000s, NETCO began to bump up against the limits of their system?s speed, user friendliness, and storage capacity, creating lag time in processing and hampering productivity. Additionally, staff had to send emails to pass off files. This created room for error and inefficiency when staff had to search for and identify their files. It was time for a change.</p>
<h6>A workflow that fits what NETCO does best</h6>

<p>Kling will utilize her depth of experience in the title industry to play a vital role in helping ResWare customers enable efficient paperless process flow and tracking by utilizing the product’s powerful Action Items™ feature. In addition to working directly with customers, she will relay feedback and recommend product enhancements to the ResWare product engineering team.</p>

<p>Kling has more than 20 years of experience in the title industry. She is actively involved in the industry and the ongoing education of its members and is currently the vice president and education chair of the <a href="http://www.cacc-closers.org/">Colorado Association of Certified Closers</a>. She is also a member of the <a href="http://www.a-e-a.org/">American Escrow Association</a> and active with the <a href="http://www.ltac.org/">Land Title Association of Colorado</a>.</p>

<p>Canyon Title was formed in 2001, and currently focuses on serving the Colorado market, processing approximately 500 title orders each month. Canyon Title was acquired by sales, marketing and business management professional Robert Lindley, whose focus on team, process and people has made him an ambassador of the new title industry.</p>
<h6>Losing time and productivity to the file shuffle</h6>
<p>When Lindley acquired Canyon Title Company in 2006, the first thing he did was watch his employees. In two months of observation he noticed that staff would spend 20-30 percent of their time looking for, recreating and merging paper files. Turnaround time was running two days or more, with outsourcing. Thanks to his background with large corporate title agencies, Lindley knew big gains in service and efficiency would follow simply by improving productivity. Lindley set to work creating a methodology for evaluating software vendors that would help him manage workflow. Among the requirements: the solution had to be paperless, powerful, offer complete file histories and integrated communications (i.e., send emails and faxes from within the program).  After a lengthy evaluation process, Canyon Title Company selected ResWare.</p>

We found during process mapping that the average transaction has 75 steps from end to end, and 97 percent of that process revolves around three key steps:  request, receipt and creation. <p>Having completed a full migration to ResWare, Lindley saw total turnaround time drop from an industry-standard two business days to just four hours—an immediate competitive advantage. With ResWare’s efficiency, his current staff handled a significant growth in business that would have forced him to add roughly three people with the prior process. Canyon Title was able to function with less people; Lindley’s conservative estimates place first-year man-hour savings at $150,000 with ResWare.</p>
<p>Market changes shifted focus from refinance to resale, so Lindley and his team once again looked for ways to optimize their service and process, and in some cases, even de-automated steps where they deemed more customer contact was necessary.  ResWare’s customizable system allowed Canyon Title to easily adapt to the changing market.</p>
